GRETSCH Music Man was founded in 1974 by Leo Fender, Tom Walker, and Forrest White in Fullerton, California.

Fender officially the Fender Musical Instruments Corporation, was founded in 1946 by Clarence Leonidas “Leo” Fender. He started the company in Fullerton, California, initially under the name Fender Electric Instrument Manufacturing Company, focusing on building electric guitars, basses, and amplifiers.

Gibson officially the Guitar Corporation, was founded in 1902 by Orville Gibson in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Orville began making mandolins and guitars in the late 1890s, and by 1902, the Gibson Mandolin-Guitar Mfg. Co., Ltd. was formally established to produce stringed instruments.

PRS (Paul Reed Smith) was founded in 1985 by Paul Reed Smith in Annapolis, Maryland.

Ibanez was established in 1957 by Hoshino Gakki in Nagoya, Japan, though the brand’s origins trace back to the 1920s when Hoshino began importing and distributing guitars.

Ernie Ball the company, was founded in 1962 by Ernie Ball in San Luis Obispo, California, initially focusing on guitar strings and accessories.
