Donna Grantis is a Canadian guitarist, composer, and producer, best known for her work with Prince as co-lead guitarist in his funk-rock trio 3RDEYEGIRL and the New Power Generation from 2012 to 2016. She composed the title track for Prince & 3RDEYEGIRL’s album Plectrumelectrum, which hit #1 on the Billboard Rock Chart. A versatile musician blending jazz, rock, funk, and blues, Grantis released her critically acclaimed debut album Diamonds & Dynamite in 2019, featuring collaborations with Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready. She’s also an advocate for climate change, integrating environmental themes into her music and working with organizations like EarthPercent. Grantis plays PRS guitars and is recognized for her dynamic live performances and innovative fusion sound
